THE MANHATTAN CONNECTION
The Manhattan Connection musical duo was formed in 2006. The group members are Lisa Coppoletta and Danny De
Luccia. The duo entertains in southwest Florida and performs mostly at country clubs. The duo is well known for their
musical versatility which spans from the1940's to some of the latest modern hits.
Lisa has performed in a number of musical theater productions which include Grease , Joseph and
the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Jesus Christ Superstar and Here's To Us. Lisa is a graduate of The American Music and Dramatic
Academy also studied acting under David Martin, Howard Fine and Beryl Smith-Durham. Lisa also was the lead vocalist
in a big band who's venues include The Sands Hotel in Atlantic City, The Rainbow Room, The Waldorf Astoria, The Plaza Hotel
in N.Y.C. just to mention a few. Lisa is well versed and has a fantastic voice with a great vocal range.
Danny has been playing drums since the age of eight. He started playing out with different groups at the age of fifteen.
He eventually started to work weddings at the age of seventeen ,where he was introduced to singing and the guitar. Danny
later started working with the doo wop group Nino and the Ebb Tides who's hits include "Those Oldies but Goodies and
Juke Box Saturday Night." They worked the circuit with other groups such as The Earls , The Capris , Joey Dee and
the Star Lighters, The Chantels, The Duprees, The Channels just to mention a few. Danny Retired from N.Y.C. in 2004
and moved to Florida meeting Lisa and then forming The Manhattan Connection. The rest is history.
