The OSU Alumni Club of Naples Scholarship is available to students from Collier County who exhibit academic and leadership performance in their local high schools.  Application materials are available from Dr. Bruce Mousa, Scholarship Chair (239-593-9196, Naples home; 614-361-4418, cell; e-mail at scholarships@naplesbuckeyes.com).  Interest for scholarships should begin with a contact with Dr. Mousa as early as the fall of a student’s senior year in high school with applications for scholarships completed no later than January 15 of the senior year of high school.  Candidates must have official acceptance from The Ohio State University as a student prior to applying for a Club scholarship.  Upon completion and submission of the scholarship application, the Scholarship Committee will screen and interview applicants.  Notification of awards is normally done by the end of February.  Students who are granted initial awards are eligible to continue the award for future years upon achievement of a minimum of a 3.0 GPA and continuation of leadership activities at Ohio State.
